Michael is the founder of Encore Recycling, LLC. As an accounting graduate from American University, Washington, DC, Mike continued on in the footsteps of his father, Bensel Selis in recycling commodities by collecting, processing and selling. In 1982, Mike opened the doors of Georgetown Paperstock in Bladensburg, MD. After building a successful operation for a number of years, he sold the Bladensburg, MD, operation to Paperstock Dealers, Inc..
From 1995 through 2001, Mike provided financial advisory services to Legg Mason Financial Group. In 2001, he established Encore Recycling in Laurel, MD. Mike continues to enhance his expertise in the recycling of commodities in a fast changing industry.
